Gruppo IRV

The Istituto Radiologico Valdostano (Val D’Aosta Radiological Institute - I.R.V.) a specialist outpatient diagnosis and therapy clinic, based at 24 Via Elter in Aosta , was founded on 1st December 1975.
 
In 1979 an active partnership relationship was set up between the USL and the institute and, at the same time, new departments were created.

Over subsequent years, the number of services provided increased significantly: in 1990 the ultrasound service was begun, in 1994 mammography, and in 1996 magnetic resonance.

Worthy of note are also the strengthening of the rehabilitation department, the development of new specialist outpatient clinics, the opening of an additional I.R.V. diagnosis and therapy facility at Pont St. Martin, and also the entry into service of sport medicine and workplace medicine services in Via Kaolack in Aosta.

2005 saw the founding of “Revive Clinique”, a service which entirely focuses on dermatology, laser surgery and aesthetic surgery.
 
In 2007 the SORIVAL private analysis laboratory was strengthened with the introduction of new tests and chemical-clinical analyses, as well as the opening of an obstetrics unit.

In 2008 “IRV PROGETTO SPORT” (a multipurpose centre for athletes) was opened for professional athletes and anyone who takes part in sport, even at an amateur level.
The IRV group is currently made up of three companies: I.R.V., SO.RI.VAL and R.M.V., which each focus on specialists sectors.

Company specialisations:

• IRV srl, an accredited company which works with the national health service, provides imaging, physical therapy and rehabilitation, sports medicine and doctors’ surgeries.;
• SORIVAL srl, an IRV subsidiary company, is a private supplier of services connected with the analysis lab and to sports medicine;
• RMV s.a.s., is a service company providing specialist outpatient healthcare, which is functionally linked to the group.
